Monumental floor vase - Karlsruher Majolika F. Glatzle

A beautiful piece of German art ceramics - this colourful & monumetal floor vase - Karslruher Majolika - designed by fab Fridegart Glatzle. Reddish clay, with nicely done matte glaze in different shades of green and brown. Elegant shape, with one handle. This is not merely a huge floor vase - it is definitely art! Marked underneath with the moulded Karlsruhe stamp, model number 7313. This vase was in production late 1960s till 1973 (reeditet in 1988 - this vase offered here is from around 1970!). Certainly one of the rare designs by this manufacturer - and huge ! The object measures: height 58 cm/ 22.8'. Condition: Used, but in good undamaged condition. If so, only minute traces of use. No chips, no repairs or whatsoever. A rare collector's item.
