A Margarethenhöhe jug vase - designed by Johannes Leßmann, around 1930. Leßmann studied under the famous Bauhaus-artist Otto Lindig, this item makes it pretty obvious! Leßmann led the workshop from 1927 onwards (followed Will Lammert), he died in WWII in 1944. Height 21.5 cm/ 8.5'. Marked underneath with workshop stamp plus handwritten form number. Minimal chips underneath at the stand, apart from this in excellent condition.
