Wick Werke Westerwald Ceramic Carafe 20 cm

Decorative ceramic jug vase by Wick Werke from the Westerwald region, dating from after 1922. The piece impresses with its striking geometric form, angular body and strong contrast between the cream-coloured glaze and dark blue accents.

The tall narrow neck, square base and decoratively shaped handle give the piece a clear, graphic appearance. Particularly attractive are the dark lines and surfaces, which emphasise the form and give the carafe a strong expressive character. Around 1925. Designed by Egon Braun.

The carafe is marked on the underside.
