A vase with colourful graphical deor on black base, inside yellow. Made around 1956 by the art pottery Johann Lipp in Mering/ Germany. Certainly the most important decor by this workshop, designed by Ludwig (Lu) Klopfer. Height 11 cm/ 4.3'. Marked underneathw with engraved form number. Literature hint: Horst Makus - Keramik der 50er-jahre, p. 226. Excellent condition.
