Early vase Gertrud Kraut - Hameln potetry

An early jug vase by the important Hameln pottery - designed by Gertrud Kraut - 1922 to 1925 (she left the pottery in 1925 in order to found her own workshop). Dark clay, with grey-blue mottled glaze. marked underneath with impressed workshop stamp plus early form number 33. height 15 cm/ 45.9'. Three very small flea bites at the top opening, apart from this in very good undamaged condition. A rare and beautiful piece of early German art pottery.
