Henk Wildenberg Ceramic Bowl, Beesel, 1948–1978

Expressive handmade ceramic bowl by the Dutch ceramic artist Henk Wildenberg. The organically shaped bowl stands on three small feet and features a striking graphic decoration on the interior, with light incised drawing on a dark ground. Its free form and distinctive linear design give the piece both a decorative and sculptural presence.

The underside is signed “H. Wildenberg Beesel”.

Henk Wildenberg was born in Bussum in 1916, was self-taught, and worked as a ceramic artist in Beesel from 1948 to 1978.
