Cortendorf 1034 Large Ceramic Nude Figurine 1950s 1960s Mid Century

A large ceramic figurine by Cortendorf, made around 1960.

The figure depicts a young woman in a beautifully detailed pose and features a warm brown glaze. Model number 1034. Its form and expression are characteristic of late 1950s and early 1960s design.

At approximately 29 cm tall, the figure has an impressive decorative size and is a fine classic of German Mid Century design.

Condition: Very good. There is a tiny glaze imperfection underneath the left foot, approximately the size of a pinhead, as shown in the detailed photograph. Otherwise in excellent condition.
