Swedish Glass Carafe – 1950s / Purple Glass with Original Label

An elegant Swedish glass carafe, probably dating from the 1950s. The tall cylindrical shape, slightly stepped neck and small pouring lip give the piece a clean, reduced silhouette typical of Scandinavian glass design from this period.

Particularly attractive is the deep purple glass, which changes in intensity depending on the light. The carafe still retains its old green Swedish Glass label with silver stars. The exact maker cannot be clearly identified, but the Swedish origin is documented by the label.

A beautiful collector’s piece for lovers of Scandinavian glass, vintage design and Swedish mid-century glassware.
