Italian Apothecary Jar / Bonbon Jar – Blue Glass, 1960s

A decorative apothecary jar / bonbon jar made of blue glass, manufactured in Italy, probably dating from the 1960s. The rounded body with stepped neck and matching lid gives the piece a clear, elegant shape typical of decorative glass design from this period.

Particularly attractive is the strong, vivid blue colour of the glass. Depending on the light, the piece appears beautifully intense and has a strong decorative presence. The jar still retains its old “Made in Italy” label, adding to its authentic vintage character.
