A rare Art Noveau ash-tray by the the art workshop 'Neues Münchener Kunstgewerbe, founded in 1919 by the gold- and silver smith Alois Wörle. Hammered decor, with friez deco along the brim. With three cigarette rests. Diameter 6.7'. Marked underneath with 'NMK'. Normal ageing traces/ one or respectively two minimal splits at two of the ball-shaped feet. Apart from this, the object is in very good undamaged condition.
