A fine Art Noveau cachepot - WMF Geislingen, around 1900. Brass, with bordered rim and vertical relief decor all around. Height of the object 1.9'. Marked underneath with the impressed WMF ostriche stamp which was used between 1890 and 1925. Warm even ageing patina, minute traces of use.
