Hans LUCKHARDT Siesta Medicinal Medizinal lounger Thonet

A rare Thonet lounger - Siesta Medizinal - designed by Hans Luckhardt. It is the slightly changed version from the 1950s which has no neck pillow (original design 1936). Beech wood, glazed. The slope can be adjust by a knob. Height ca 109 cm/ 42.9', width ca. 66 cm/ 25.9'. With original label on the backrest. Good condition, with minor traces of use which can be called normal for an about 70 year.old piece of furniture. One strut was nailed which can be seen on the photo (certainly many years ago - it has no influence on the stability!).
