4 modernist coat hangers coat hooks leather tips era Stilnovo atomic

Stunning pieces of mid-century style design & furnishing - made around 1960

Up for sale are these four unique coat hangers / hooks in amazing mid-century style. Brass, combined with velvet and with leather tips. Strongly reminds of designs by Auböck, but I honestly can't say who designed the hooks. Exactly the same coat hooks can be seen on a famous 1950s photo by the important German photographer Ruth Hallensleben (in an ad for the wall paper manufacturer Pickhard & Siebert). Reduced, but extremely stylish design - form follows function!  Excellent quality and design.
