Small Wall Vase – Ceramic, 1950s / Floral Relief Decoration

A small and very charming ceramic wall vase, probably dating from the 1950s. The compact half-moon shape, simple light glaze and cord suspension give the piece a lovely handcrafted character.

Particularly attractive is the stylized floral decoration on the front. The incised lines resemble leaves or ears of grain and are typical of the reduced design language of the 1950s. The recessed back and simple hanging cord make the vase a decorative small wall object.

The wall vase is not clearly signed. There is a handwritten mark or number on the reverse.
