Small Ceramic Vase – Poland, 1960s/1970s / Iridescent Glaze

Small Ceramic Vase – Poland, 1960s/1970s / Iridescent Glaze

A decorative ceramic vase from Poland, probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The slender form with rounded lower body, narrow waist and slightly flared opening gives the piece an elegant appearance typical of decorative ceramics from this period.

Particularly attractive is the iridescent glaze with vertical colour fields in blue, grey, rose, yellow and white. Depending on the light, the surface has a subtle metallic shimmer, giving the vase a very distinctive, almost pearlescent effect.

The vase still retains its old label. The exact maker cannot be clearly identified.
