Lidded bowl - designed by Fridegart Glatzle

This fairly big lidded bowl was designed by Fridegart Glatzle for Karlsruher Majolika. It was in the production programme from 1967 to 1975. As far as the pure shape of the object is concerned, it reminds of the 1930s - still, glaze and workmanship are so typical of the 1960s! Reddish clay with nice matte black glaze. With blazing-red glaze on the lid. Diameter 8.66', hight up to the brim 3.54'. Very good undamaged condition. A real design classic!
