Scheurich floor vase Linie 72 - fat lava glaze

A rare piece of 70s pop art ceramics made by Germany's leading manufacturer Scheurich - around 1972/ 1973! This shape is called 'Linie 72' and was a highly-popular Scheurich design. Dark matte base with red glossy lava glaze applied on top. This shape was available with lots of different decors (also with Montignacdecor which is also available!). Marked underneath with moulded 281-30 W.Germany, original labelled. Literature hint: Mark Hill - Fat Lava - p. 126. The vase is tall - it measures approx. height 30 cm/ 11.81', base 8 cm x 14 cm/ 3.14' x 5.51'. Only tiny glaze imperfection on the top opening, see detail pic, more photos on request. Apart from this: Excellent condition.
