Jasba Handle Vase 233/30 – West German Pottery, 1960s

A decorative handle vase by Jasba Keramik, probably dating from the 1960s. The tall, slender form with side handle, slightly narrowed centre and wide opening is typical of West German pottery from this period.

Particularly attractive is the all-over décor with fine horizontal lines in beige and brown tones. The dark central band with graphic rectangular motifs and coloured lines in yellow and green gives the vase a clear Mid-Century character. The combination of restrained base glaze and geometric decoration makes this piece highly decorative and collectible.

The vase is marked on the underside with Jasba and the form number 233/30.
