A decorative vase by Ruscha Keramik, probably dating from the 1970s. The simple cylindrical form has a clear, reduced appearance, while the lively glaze gives the piece a very distinctive surface.

Particularly attractive is the dark, lava-like glaze in black, brown and grey-blue tones. The grainy, partly almost volcanic texture is typical of many West German ceramics from the 1970s and gives the vase a strong, expressive character.
