Product information "2 Art Nouveau wall candelabras - R. Hohrath-Vesper"

Two wall candelabras by Renate Hohrath-Vesper - in typical art nouveau style! Made in Hagen / Westphalia - around 1920/ 1930. The pottery founded by R. Hohrath-Vesper (later together with Ruth Volmer) existed till 1988. Renate Hohrath-Vesper was obliged to the influence of Peter Behrens and Henry van de Velde - this is not surprising because both artists were attended with this town. Even today, the influence of both Art Nouveau artists is omnipresent in Hagen. - Marked on the reverse with the early workshop stamp (the oak leaves). The measure approx. height each 28 cm/ 11', width 8 cm/ 3.1', weight together 1500 grams. Condition: Both have traces of use. One with a small chip on the drip catcher, can be seen on the photo. The left one seems to have a horizontal crack on the reverse, this is ex works, not a damage. Extremely rare museum objects!
