Ü-Keramik Plant Pot with Abstract Decoration, 1950s to 1960s

Small ceramic plant pot dating from the 1950s to 1960s and attributed to Ü-Keramik. Its flared conical shape and contrasting decoration give the piece a distinctive Mid-Century appearance.

The exterior has a deep black finish decorated with freely applied mustard-yellow lines and short white accents. The turquoise-green glazed interior creates an attractive contrast. The underside is finished in yellow and has an unglazed foot ring. Slight irregularities in the shape and decoration are characteristic features of handcrafted production.

The pot is suitable for small houseplants and succulents or as a decorative ceramic object. It measures approximately 9 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter and weighs approximately 240 g.
