Alfred Taube Blue Glass Candleholder 1970s

A decorative glass candleholder by Alfred Taube, probably dating from the 1970s. The clear sculptural form in strong blue glass has a simple yet very striking appearance.

Particularly attractive is the intense cobalt-blue colour, which changes beautifully depending on the light. The rounded, tiered shape with a spherical centre section and wide base is very typical of 1970s glass design and makes this piece a lovely decorative object for collectors of vintage glass and design pieces.
