Italian Micromosaic Brooch / Murano – 1950s Glass Mosaic

A decorative Italian brooch, probably dating from around 1950, made as a fine micromosaic from small coloured glass tesserae. The ornamental design is richly detailed and set in a brass-coloured metal frame.

The elongated, pointed shape gives the piece an elegant appearance and is typical of Italian souvenir and jewellery pieces from the mid-century period. A beautiful small collector’s item for lovers of vintage jewellery, Italian glass and micromosaic work.
