Huge German bisque porcelain floor vase Schumann era Freyer WGP - 17.7" !

An outstanding piece of German art porcelain - this monumental Rosenthal bisque floor vase - made around 1960/ 1970

This vase is simply - amazing! Unglazed art porcelain (bisque) of finest quality, with expressive op art relief pattern. The photos show it pretty well. I have never seen this pattern on a floor vase. Marked underneath with the vintage Schumann stamp. Pure understatement - a fascinating modernist/ mid-century vase - great accessory on teak, rosewood or any kind of polished wood! Very very hard to get!

Condition: Used, but in very good condition. One tiny graze at the base, this can be seen on detail pic. 6. It is very small and you almost have to search for it. I couldn't even take a reasonable photo of it. Apart from this: No chips, no cracks, no repairs or whatsoever. A rare collector's item.
