Walter Becht Pair of Ceramic Vases 1970s Fat Lava Purple Rare Set

An extremely rare pair of ceramic vases by Walter Becht, made around 1970.

The two vases bear the model numbers WB149/23 and WB151/26 and feature an unusual purple-violet glaze with characteristic Fat Lava texture. Comparable pieces are very rarely offered.

Height approx. 23 cm and 26 cm
Maximum width approx. 12 cm and 13 cm
Total weight approx. 1,650 g

Condition: Very good. The smaller vase has a fine short hairline crack on the inside, starting from the rim. It is not visible from the outside and has been documented in the photographs. Apart from this, both vases are in excellent condition.
