Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Lidded Box Kari Christensen 1960s Rare Danish Design

A fine lidded box by Aluminia, Denmark, dating from the 1960s and designed by Kari Christensen.

The piece features a particularly attractive and colourful Scandinavian decoration. It is marked on the base and also bears the decor number and the initials “KC” inside the lid.

A rare model and a lovely example of Danish design from the 1960s. From 1969, Aluminia production continued under the Royal Copenhagen name.
