Marei Pottery Handle Vase Model 106 – Brüssel Décor / 1960s–1970s

A decorative handle vase by Marei Keramik, probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The slender form with side handle, slightly rounded body and narrow opening is typical of West German pottery from this period.

Particularly striking is the raised relief decoration in strong blue and black on a light grey-beige base glaze. The all-over ornamental design recalls stylized floral forms and gives the vase a bold graphic appearance. A beautiful collector’s piece for lovers of Marei pottery, West German ceramics and decorative 1960s/1970s design.

The vase is marked on the base with the form number 106. The décor is known as Brüssel.
