Marei Brüssel Vase 1960s in Blue and Grey

A decorative ceramic vase by Marei Keramik, décor Brüssel, probably dating from the 1960s. This version is designed without a handle and has a well-balanced rounded body with a narrow neck and small opening.

Particularly attractive is the raised relief decoration in blue, black and grey on a light base glaze. The applied ornaments and the wide blue band give the vase a strong graphic appearance and make it a characteristic piece of West German pottery from this period.

The vase is marked on the underside.

Good vintage condition. One small glaze flaw is present, otherwise well preserved.
